For the third year, the Florimont Institute will be a sponsor of the ‘Banque Eric Sturdza Geneva Open’ which will take place from 16 May to 23 May 2020 at Parc des Eaux-Vives. This partnership between one of the most prestigious schools in the area and the largest tennis tournament organized in the French-speaking region of Switzerland came about naturally, since the Florimont Institute has always considered the sport as a genuine school of life that contributes to students’ health and improves their academic performance.
All throughout the week of the tournament, Florimont will occupy the tennis courts. Students are warmly invited to Parc des Eaux-Vives to attend the tennis matches, where they will have the opportunity to take part as ball boys and ball girls, while others will be able to participate in volunteer groups within the organization. The 2019 edition of the Banque Eric Sturdza Geneva Open included the presence of two former winners of the ATP London Masters, Alexander Zverev, who won the event in 2018, and Grigor Dimitrov. Winning at the Banque Eric Sturdza Geneva Open in 2016 and 2017, Stan Wawrinka was also in attendance.
